The Persona of Contemporary Tapestries
An increasing number of art made from fabrics are being made and people are after these works of art because they want to adorn their homes and offices with art which are made from textiles. Tapestries and wall hangings are one type of art which people are using for a long time. Many artists have created art on fabrics and they can be dated back to thousands of years.
In the recent times, everyone is searching for wall décor beyond the traditional kinds of wall decorations and this is one of the reasons why tapestries and wall hangings are gaining importance. One other reason for its popularity is because it can offer a sense of history and it can be passed down from one generation to another.
Modern-day tapestry design
