Today there are many ways to buy original art. You need not spend a fortune to purchase art, nor do you need to shop only at art galleries.
First you need to decide how much you want to spend and what type of artwork you enjoy. If you don't know yet what you like, then visiting museums or art galleries will help. Of course viewing art on the web is also a good way to hone your tastes.
Arts and crafts festivals are a great way to find art from talented artists who are on the verge of being discovered.
