A Question About Interest. REPOSTED?
I wasn't as clear the first time through as I should have be. Here is the same ask with better details. I did achieve one good answer the first time though.I bought a motorcycle from Honda at 9.9% interest. I be told that I could pay it stale early if I needed and that would effectively reduce my interest. So I compensate extra on the monthly amount. The payment is $155 but I other pay $160 or better. The extra is supposed to stir towards the principle but last month I salaried $175 so $20 dollars is supposed to go towards the principle but they applied $11 more towards the interest and with the sole purpose $9 towards the motorcycleWhat's up with this? I can't ask them around it until tomorrow.So in essence my interest closing month was $55 this month it be $ 65. The statement clearly states that any payments made in excess to the standard is applied towards the principle. There is no check box.

Currently I have a 624.00 match on my capital one card, near and apr of 20/55%. I got an tender for a GM Flexible Earning Card. Which offers a 0% apr on be a foil for transfers fixed through december 2007. Now I'm considering applying for this card and transfering the balance so I can cut the apr, I'm paying on my panama one? Can you explain how it work and does it seem approaching a good thought?Out of the 624, 200 is mine the rest is my mom's, helping her pay some bills. A resteraunt that I visit frequently (which will remain unnamed) have always charged me a "convinience fee" for using a debit or credit card. I didn't cogitate anything of this, as I've been to places up to that time like that, but I enjoy found out recently that this commotion is forbidden by credit card companies, and in some states, ILLEGAL! My grill is...how do I go around getting this place reported? I looked all over Visa's site and found nought. Anyone know anything?

I recently sent a reminder to a creditor in regard to an old charge sour. I would like to reward the balance but want it removed or programmed as "paid contained by full" on my credit report. Even though the correspondence is in writing, how do I know the creditor will hold their end of the operate? If they do not what can I do with that signed reminder? A serious debt sound out!?
In August 07 I had just finished paying past its sell-by date a debt to the Royal Bank of Scotland.I was paying by lb180 installments through a credit agency called Allied International.I made my final transfer of funds of lb113.58 in August 07.Allied International informed me over the telephone that this debt be now cleared.I recently recieved a memo from a credit agency.Fredrickson INT. on 29th April 08.They were informing me that I owe lb3269 to the Royal Bank Of Scotland.This letter be sent to an old adress.I haven't lived there for 4/5 years.I telephone them and told them my new address and told them I had already remunerated off this debt with the Royal Bank of Scotland.I get reciepts from the bank which show I have remunerated.I sent these reciepts along with a letter to Fredrickson Int. They speak they hadn't recieved any letter or reciepts and are still hounding me for payment.It's cause me so much stress and interfering with my work and personal life.What if it go to court?What can I do? About 10 yrs ago, I have my sports car repo'd by someone while I be at work. Can they do this?
I was call down to the lobby and asked for my car key by a repo man. I was a touch taken by surprise. I was 1 donation behind and call the company who owned my car loan the subsequent day to find out how to get hold of it back. I have to pay a $400 dollar allowance for a 2 day storage on the motor. I overnight expressed the payment to the loan company and salaried them $400 dollars for 2 days worth of storage and for the fee of the motor re po man. I drove 50 miles from home to pick up my car and the guy who have my car charged me roughly speaking $350 dollars for storage on his lot. I thought that is what I remunerated to the loan company. Was he allowed to do that or was he mortal a crook trying to scam money because he knew I have it. Is there anywhere to report the guy?
About a month ago my girlfriend moved surrounded by next to me and have to break her lease.?
They said she needed to give 30 days distinguish and she could cancel three months untimely. Anyway she got a message in the messages after she turned in the key saying she owed for january and is in arrears. She called the prevalent office and said whoever told her at the leasing bureau was wrong and she cant break the lease. They already changed the locks on the door but not a soul lives there. She does not hold anything in writing since it be a conversation in the organization and she wrote the letter stating she is moving out. She is very soon liable for the next 3 months and we own a morgage payment and cant afford the lease at her hoary place. What would be the plan of action. Thanks

I had a dept next to a company then I recived a memorandum from a dept collections company asking for payment, I didnt recive any corespondence from the company I owed the money to unfolding me it had be referd to a dept collections company. IS THIS LEGAL? the company I owed the money to still gave me the substitute to pay past its sell-by date what I owed them, with no mention of a referal to any dept coloection company, so I compensated what I owed direct to the company I owed it to. now the dept colection company is describing me I owe them lb10 in authority charges CAN TEY DO THIS? shorly if it had be referd to this dept collection company, the company I originaly owed the money to should have withdrawn adjectives meens of paying them direct, and informed me that any money owing was to be rewarded to the colloection company and not them. wher do I stand on this. will I end up paying the dept collection company ther lb10 admin tax or is it between the company I owed and the dept collection company to sort out among themselv

If I close a credit card account, will days gone by records of that credit card show on my Credit report. I enjoy missed one payment one of my credit. But my friend told me to close that credit card so that the documents will be deleted from that. But my credit card still shows the closed card.Is that right?

Ok here is the thing I signed up for an online class - start be 75.00 - the class total was 800.00. I had several accounts within collections that I have just this minute paid bad. A couple of the collection agency reported my account to the bureau as "remunerated in full" or "settled surrounded by full". Now I just enjoy one account vanished to pay, and they are inclined to delete this account for my credit if i pay packet it in full. If i kind a settlement payment they will report as "rewarded in full" it is going on for a $300 difference to have it delete. What shoulld I do pay the full amount and own it deleted or basically settle?Please help.

i need a loan to consolidate my debt i'm infantile and had some doomed to failure situations and now my credit is EXTREMELY desperate. i am talking beneath 400 kinda credit, yea.. that bad i own no cosigner and a main sense for the loan is to pay stale all my debts so i don't enjoy 12 creditors calling me 62 times a day respectively. that way i enjoy one payment i don't want to walk to the people who consolidate it for you. i want to return with whatever credit i can still get hold of from these creditors and have at lowest possible a few good remarks on my credit (it used to be great

Hello. I need some tangible advice. I of late graduated from arts school about a year ago and close to a lot students, I maxed out my card around a year ago. I had problems finding a opening for about 3 months so I couldn't compensate the monthly minimum. My card from Bank of America was maxed at $5,500. Anyhow, give or take a few 4 months later I try to fashion a payment to find out that my description was frozen and they have sent the account to a collectors agency. By this time the go together rose to about 6,500. So I closed the depiction because BOA wouldn't let me clear a monthly payment. The looked-for the full $6,500! I didn't know what to do. So here I am now near creditors harassing me telling me that I owe them $10,000+ !! How can they hang on to charging me interest if the account be closed, I cant use the credit card, and won't even let me sort a monthly payment!!? The creditors told me they can cut it down to $6,500 if I money in full! I can't do that right very soon. I' am really trying to get this problem resolved. Help!

My ex fiance and I went to the furniture store and I help him co sign as a secondary personality. (which was STUPID, I know).Then he cheated on me several times and we broke up. The furniture is currently contained by his possession. He stopped paying the bill Dec. last year, very soon the credit card company keeps on calling me day by day, I have asked, pleaded and even beg him to take thoroughness of his responsiblity. Every time I call him he tell me not to pick up the credit cards company call. I terminated up picking up the payment but beside the amount of furniture bought it would probably be 4-5 yrs before I am done. Secondly I don't resembling paying someone elses billThis is like a BURDEN on me. A friend recommended a small claims court but right presently I have a markedly busy schedule. Does any one know how long it is formerly ur time to file a claim expires?.. Or I be hoping since I have rewarded the bulk of the bill, if I could go pick up MY furniture. Any insist on would be appreciated tremendously
Advice on what to do w/ this chain of credit?!?
I owe 26,000 to bank of america on a vein of credit. This was used to consolidate debt. Until immediately, I have be able to compensate the 500 dollar min. payment a month. In times gone by 4 months, some major things hold changed in my natural life. My husband lost his job (due to lay off), I have a baby and I am also out of work for the summer as I am a professor. In my state we are on 10 month contract so there will be no income from me during the summer. MY husband however is bringing home money but not nearly satisfactory as before and I can't work during the summer as I enjoy nobody to take perfectionism of our son and childcare would be too expensive w/ just a summer commission. So.. having said that, I can't settle up this bill! I have call BoA and they said I could cancel the justification and work out a 3-5 year lower interest payment plan. Would it be best to do that or miss the recompense for a few months and try to negotiate the debt to a lower amount? Either way, my credit will be messed up I know! Any direction?

I am in a situation where I know that I won't be capable of pay the minimum payment on a 27,000 dollar smudge of credit. I paid this month (505 min. payment) . I'm expecting a child any and right now I enjoy very little in my checking to cover any expenses that may come up. I entail some of that 505 back into my pocket for the upcoming months. I want to call the creditor and be upfront just about everything..what should I do/say? At this point, my credit score isn't my main concern..I merely want to stay in good grace. Suggestions?

based on a wrong balance or financial misfortune. This is for a car "voluntary surrender". Orig price 12000, I made 5600 in payments, they sold underneath book value for 4600. I was 3wks unpunctually on a payment from stipulation. they got judgement for 10,000. did not dispense me creit for $700 of payments. wages being garnished. If I Paid the 10k they will own recieved 21,000 for a 12k car. if this legal. Went through Ford Fairlane credit.If u can move about back to court for this ...where might I find the forms. clean york State
