One Tree Hill: Why Did Lucas and Peyton Break Up?
Since the beginning of One Tree Hill's season 5, many fans have been speculating about why Lucas and Peyton aren't together anymore, with Lucas dating an entirely different woman. So what really caused them to break up and go their separate ways? When we last saw Peyton and Lucas in season 4, they were happily in each other's arms, going strong together. Now that they're back, it seems that everything we knew about them in season 4 faded away. They're now broken apart and Lucas is dating his book author, Lindsey. A lot of things could happen in a span of four years, and this is what fans and viewers would like to know. Good thing TV Guide's Michael Ausiello reports that the real reason behind the Lucas-Peyton separation will be revealed in February 5's episode entitled "Don't Dream It's Over."
It has been revealed that the real reason behind the break up will be put out in the open when Lucas and Peyton have a huge argument. This argument may be about anything, and many are speculating what it is about. Some think that it is caused by Peyton's ongoing flirtation with the sexy bartender that she met in the previous episode. Lucas was obviously jealous of the bartender, and if he continues to let his possessive feelings in the way, the two might get into a real fight.
Other speculations include Peyton's choice to permanently stay in Los Angeles to pursue her career in the music industry. She either slept with someone else, or Lucas probably got too desperate for his first book to get published and ran into some problems as well. Probably Peyton acted too much like a hooker, thus Lucas threw her out.
Keep in mind that this is One Tree Hill, and things could get pretty crazy in this town. No matter what, we will find out soon about what happened and what is to come for Lucas and Peyton and the rest of the Tree Hill gang.
